Q: What life support classes do you offer?

A: We currently offer the following courses:

  • Heartsaver First Aid CPR + AED: Coming soon to Stockton and Bakersfield. Perfect for parents, babysitters, teachers, coaches, and anyone who wants to be prepared for injuries and emergencies.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Available in Stockton & Bakersfield. Ideal for healthcare professionals & healthcare allies; it’s required by most hospitals in California for most roles. Perfect for medical techs, lifeguards, teachers, and hospital employees.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Available in Stockton & Bakersfield. Required for specific patient-facing roles in healthcare, such as nurses and doctors. 
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Available in Stockton only. Required for specific patient-facing roles in healthcare, such as nurses and doctors.

Q: How do I sign up for a life support class?

A: Submit a contact form or give us a call to schedule your class. You will need to submit your payment and the required registration forms [link to documents page] before the class.

Q: Which life support class is right for me?

A: If you are not a healthcare worker or first responder, the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is probably a good fit for you. Check out our blog post on this topic!

Q: What computer-based tests do you offer?

A: We offer exams provided by Pearson VUE and the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) in Stockton and Bakersfield, CA. We also offer exams from PSI Exams in Stockton, CA only.

Q: Can you sign me up for my exam?

A: We currently do not participate in signing up test candidates for any exams offered by Zenith Career Services. You are expected to sign up for and schedule your exam through your test provider.

Q: Are group discounts available?

A: Yes, discounts for 8 or more students are available!

Q: Do you travel for life support courses?

A: Yes, we charge a $100 travel fee for sites within 40 miles of either of our locations.
